FASD and the Courts

The judicial system may deal with FASD affected people most days, unknowingly.

Most people with FASD have not yet been diagnosed. Many of them may have a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses.

Court orders for assessment are helpful to obtaining a diagnosis and to begin the community support process. Although limited numbers of diagnostic clinics exist today, demand may change that.
