SASKATCHEWAN - Court of Queen's Bench, Family Law Division: A.C.F.C. v. L.P.W.C. [1998] S.J. No. 870

FACTS: Each parent put forth an application for the custody of the children.  Although one of the children was suspected of suffering from FAS, the disorder was not considered to be a mitigating factor in the trial. 

HELD: The mother was the only employed parent and as such, she was given custody.  The father was granted access.
